Dinner At MoCo Fredericton & Hilton Hotel Hangout

When I started my Wednesday Brunch series, it was meant as a way to review different restaurants, try out different brunch recipes, and just chat with you guys about life and what’s going on. I haven’t posted a Wednesday Brunch post since last Summer, and I really want to get back into posting more from that series!

With that being said, two Fridays ago I was invited to go to Moco Fredericton with my friends Ashley and Karen (they were in town for business), followed by hanging out at the Hilton Garden Inn - so what better time to revive Wednesday Brunch?

I’ve never been to Moco before, and Ashley RAVES about it, so I was excited to try it!

Moco is a trendy Italian restaurant located in downtown Fredericton at 100 Regent Street. I parked on Waterloo Row and walked over. There’s something about walking downtown in the rain that I LOVE. Downtown Fredericton is actually really beautiful, with the river view, old buildings and trendy businesses, so it was a nice walk. Street parking is free in Fredericton after 5, but there IS a parking garage right on the other side of Moco though that you can park in if you prefer!

When I arrived, the girls already had a glass of wine waiting on the table for me!

I don’t drink enough to know much about wine- bit this one was SO good!

The vibe at Moco is very classy and luxurious, with a trendy downtown vibe. Our server’s name was Summer Rain, and she was amazing- so if you’re reading this Moco, give that girl a raise! We ordered appetizers, which were all incredible!

I swear I was happier than I look, lol

I ordered the Chicken Parm, and it was literally one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Karen ordered the Gnocchi and Ashley got the chef’s special of the day! Moco also has a take-out window at the side of the building, which makes it super easy to order online and pick up if you don’t want to dine in during these Covid times.

After dinner, we got dessert to take back to the hotel. Karen and I got donut holes with caramel sauce, and Ashley got the carrot cake.

Ashley and Karen were staying at the Hilton Garden Inn around the corner from Moco, so it was a short walk over after dinner. We hung out for a while and read tarot and oracle cards

After our hang out session, I walked back to my truck. The girls could see me walking from the hotel window, and we had a flashlight signal when I got to my truck- because safety first! This area of town is usually pretty safe since it’s right by two major hotels and there are always cabs and people around, but you can never be too careful.

As adults, I feel like we get so caught up with work, and parenting, and the hustle and bustle of life that we forget to just hang out with our friends and have fun. Nights like this are SO needed once in a while.

Overall I give MOCO a 10/10!
