Cocktails, Dinner & Hilton Hangout | Ashley's Birthday!

I’m a little late posting this, but better late than never. A few weeks ago, Ashley, Karen and I had another girls night for Ashley’s birthday!

I always see women posting memes about how they wish they could still have sleepovers with their friends- well this is basically the equivalent to that, and I love it! I live in Fredericton, but Ashley and Karen live an hour away, so when they come to town on business (or in this case for Ashley’s birthday), they stay at the Hilton Garden Inn downtown.

I decided to wear this new navy dress I bought this winter at Penningtons. The weather was warm enough a few weeks ago to wear a dress, but the longer sleeves were nice to have as it got cooler into the evening.

Navy dress from Penningtons, which I paired with my black Coach bag (not pictured), blue floral mask, and white Keds.

There’s something so fun about parking downtown and walking around now that the weather is warming up. I parked just past the Crown Plaza and walked over to The Hilton to meet them before dinner. When I got to the hotel, we decided to have cocktails at Southside Shake- the bar inside the hotel.

Did I feel like we were in Sex And The City for a moment? Yes. Hello- we were dressed cute, having $15 cocktails inside of a fancy hotel bar downtown. It was great.

I got the Pimm’s Lemonade

After cocktails, we walked over to Ashley’s Favourite restaurant MOCO- which is incredible. If you haven’t been there yet, you have to try it! We ordered a bottle of wine for the table. MOCO has the best vibe, and we got a table upstairs overlooking the street.

I’ve been to MOCO once before with the girls, and ordered the Chicken Parm, which I loved, so I got the same this time. Karen got the Gnocchi again, and Ashley also got Chicken Parm.

After dinner, we walked back to the Hilton to have more wine and hang out. They had a room facing the street/river with a really pretty view. If you’re looking for something fun to do with your friends, seriously- do dinner and hotel hangs! I didn’t stay at the hotel since I live here, but it’s so fun and luxurious to lounge around a hotel with your friends.

This was actually our third dinner and hotel hangout to date, and it’s SO much fun every time!

And for your enjoyment, here’s a couple pictures of me wine tipsy in the hotel room.
